Busy!!! Fusible Fleece?

I've been buried under beads, buttons, and fabric for what seems like weeks! Some things I can't show you until I release my pattern line early next year and some things I'm waiting for Halloween to be over. I just feel better about putting Christmas stuff out there after then. I do have a couple of things I think you'll like. I have two tutorials for Christmas ornaments and a couple of free printables I think you will find handy.

For now though I have a question. I'm working on some new designs and I'm about to break out the fusible fleece I just bought. I've never used it before and I was just wondering if anyone else has. I'm working on some stockings and few other things about that size. I could make it easy on myself and do a little hand or machine quilting but I thought I'd try something new.

Have you used it? Do you like it? Does it hold up well? I doubt that the items I'm making will be thrown in the wash.

Photo Above: Pretty fall colors on my way to work. I think they are about gone now though.

  1. Sher, I wish I could help, but I don't think I've ever used it. Sorry :(

  2. I've never used it either, sorry.
    That's a beautiful photo!

  3. Sorry, never used fusible fleece before. Wish I had your crafting ambition though, I haven't touched anything in over a week

  4. Afraid I'm another no-nothing when it comes to fusible fleece. You need more knowledgeable readers! : )

  5. Fusible fleece is a wonderful! I use it to add a little extra heft to stockings and handbags and zipper pouches.
It's just as easy to use as fusible interfacing. I use a 90/14 needle when I'm stitching through it.

    I've never laundered it, though.

  6. Never used it but I have been digging in mountains of fabric. Does that count as hoarding? LOL

  7. Hi, just dropping by after finding you through Etsy bloggers. I fell in love with the look of your blog, your header is just toooo cute! I look forward to following you. Greetings from a fellow Etsian, from Germany, ~Debby

  8. I have never tried the fusible fleece, let us know how you liked it
