Weekend's End...

Another weekend is coming to a close. Sunday nights are kind of sad and I hate the thought of going to bed because I know that means the weekend is over.

It was a pretty full weekend. I got a lot accomplished and spent some great time with family. We went to my Mom's for a little birthday celebration for my niece and my nephew. So naturally we got to see baby Layla! I got to feed her and it brought back some memories. It's been 23 years since I've fed and burped a baby. She's so sweet and precious.

I feel like I actually created some balance this weekend. That is something I've been trying to create in my life. I worked on patterns, did a little work on my future website, got lots of stuff done around the house, and had husband and family time. I also did my 10 minute clean out and I worked out both days!

So another awesome weekend must come to an end. Lets hope for a great week ahead.

Off to visit you all now!

  2. Yay for you! Productive weekends (or any days) feel great. We did a little cleaning out in our attic -- took some stuff to Salvation Army to donate. Some of this was baby/toddler clothes. My youngest "baby" is 19!

Glad you got a lot accomplished. Some weekends it is awesome to find that you have actually completed things.

Last week I went through stacking baskets that are next to my sewing machine. I was so happy. I finished the pieces that were started and now you can see the floor. I told my friend that I could see the floor. And she was like...so??? LOL Those stacked baskets had been bothering me! Everything in them needed about 2-3 minutes of attention. Now I am happy looking at that 2' x 1' spot of floor! LOL

  8. Congrats on having a balanced and productive weekend. I used to hate Sunday nights because it meant the end of the weekend. I've gotten better about that but still struggle to find balance.

  9. My weekend was so packed that Sunday night when I got home I wasn't even sure which weekday it was... But it was a good kind of busy. One thing I missed though was being able to create, I think I need to make sure I take time out for that by the end of this week!
Enjoy the rest of the week, Sher!
