The Husband Who Thinks of Everything
First off let me say that this was a wonderful Christmas. The best part wast the time spent with family. I had both of my kids home for the holidays which made it perfect!
Now onto perfect...my husband! Yes, he's as close as one can get. Not only did he spoil me with gifts (like a new sewing machine among several others), he also came up with the perfect gift on his own. He is fascinated with the fact that I sell to so many different countries in my Etsy shop and from my website, he decided to get me a map. It's on a foam backing and trimmed with wood, and it's gigantic. It comes with little tacks with little round heads that I can stick into all the different places that I sell to. For now he hung it in our home office but it will eventually end up in the craft room that he is building building me, to my specifications..
Did I mention that he was perfect?

ReplyDeleteHi Sher, Glad you had a lovely holiday, I did as well. Wow, that is one of the coolest gifts I've heard of, I love the map idea with push pins...keep track of all your customers all over the globe. That is so creative and awesome. Happy new year to you.

I absolutely love that idea. I wish etsy would do electronic maps that automatically pinned where we've sold to.
ReplyDeleteHe's a good one!
I love that idea! I bought a map years ago to mark all the places I'd been to, but I never got it foam backed and it's still rolled up in its box. That's so awesome of him!

ReplyDeleteP.S. I notice in your profile that you work with snakes, among other animals. My son is the editor of Herp Nation magazine and has loved snakes for all of his life. Ever heard of the magazine?
