No Snowman Toy For Bubba!

I made the little snowman decoration somewhere around twelve years ago. The kids were still in middle school. So I've had him for many years. I woke up to Brian asking me this morning if I made a snowman toy for Bubba. Since this snowman was made about five years before Bubba was born, I have to say no.

Will he ever be able to tell the difference between his toys and mine?

  1. I dare say our new puppy is having the same problem separating what is or is not okay to chew on! And, like my pup, yours has a face that we can't even stay mad at over the whole thing!!

  2. Awwww :(

My daughter's dog (boxer) is only 2 years old, and he does not understand that there are things that are not his. My two big dogs (boxers)both know the difference between theirs and ours, and they would never take something that isn't theirs. Our little dog (dachshund) will never get it either....he thinks if it falls to the floor it must be his, lol. Bubba may just not get it Sher :( It is like having a small child in the house, we have to keep things they shouldn't have out of reach. Easier said than done sometimes!

  3. Awww, our Izzie is the same way, we really have to keep an eye on her! She thinks anything stuffed belongs to her. We even have to keep little Emmi's (our Yorkie Maltese) toys in a basket up high... Sad too, because she's so quiet and we don't know when she's asking to play with her toys, we'll just notice, suddenly, that she is sitting in front of the cabinet wagging her tail, looking up at the basket. We have no idea for how long she's been sitting there waiting... :(

  4. Oh Bubba! At least it's not completely destroyed, which is what Alfie would have done.

  5. LOL! Our cat has pretty well demolished a little stuffed Santa he thinks is "his."

  6. It doesn't seem like pets do make that distinction!

  7. I think once they get it in their heads that they want something that's all that matters to them....lol Duke is actually pretty good with stuff like that. He had a stage he went through where flip flops were on the endangered species list but thankfully he's over it

  8. While I do feel terrible about the snowman's fate, this post made me giggle! You gotta love that adorable little face that's in that middle picture. =0)
