Husbands and Glass Tables

Warning: Do not let your 260 pound husband sit on a glass coffee table. It will break!

My lips had just begun to form the words, "Do you really think you should be sitting on that?"  CRUNCH! Need I say more?

My husband has been such a good sport about allowing me to put this incident on my blog. He subscribes via email so he will see this post first thing tomorrow morning. Besides, I'm sure he doesn't want this to happen to another coffee table.

  7. Sher, ow my gosh, sorry about your table, that stinks. Hope it gets fixed soon.

I actually have a glass top coffee table and have many problems with it, much different then yours but...I cannot wait to get rid of the glass in my house and go for a solid topped table. That is what I'm doing with some of the tax return money next year. LOL

I have Shih Tzus as you might know and my little girl (Orchid) loves to sit under the coffee table and sneeze and spray the underside of the glass with her little pushed in nose. It drives me nuts, I clean the thing practically every day. ARGH!!!

  8. Glad your hubby is OK.

I have a glass coffee table and am very careful with it. I'll remind the rest of the family to be careful.

  12. Tell your hubby not to feel bad, because he's not the only one this has happened to! It happened to my sis-in-law's table. I forget who sat on it, but sitting on a glass table is never a good idea!!!
